Hi,
Anybody bought one of these and had problems with the supplied software ?I have been unable install the Nero 7 essentials – due to a flash pop-up that won’t close
down.I also find the manual a bit of a pain as there doesn’t seem to be a way of reading it
without using the disc.Anyone found a way round these issues I have ?

MikeI didn’t use the disc that came with mine (I had a full copy of Nero 6) so unfortunately I haven’t seen how it works. Does the window come up automatically when you insert the disc? If so, try skipping AutoPlay by holding down the Left Shift key while closing the disc tray. (You might want to open a My Computer window first so you can see when Windows is done reading the disc.) Then you can right-click on the drive in Explorer and Open it instead of AutoPlaying it.

I had exactly the same frustration with that flash screen…
My son finally installed mine and I seem to remember he just pressed escape
when that screen was on and that allowed him to proceed with the installHTH

Sorry, just realised that my drive is an LG… seems to be the same problem though with the installation of the Nero softwareI have the LG it did the same. i used task manger ( alt + Ctrl + Delete ) to close the window. it then continued
Many thanks for the info loaded the software as suggested by Parody – removed the “flash window” by selecting it then pressing escape. worked a charm.
