Further to my earlier comments aout F4 functionality being restored after installing the Vista version of SRS3 its doesn’t. What it does do is allow SRS to be launced from within Vista and then it reboots into SRS.
So what do you do idf you want to boot straight into SRS ?
Option 1:
Samsung have installed Grub4dos
At boot press & hold C to get to the Grub4dos command prompt
Type in the following commands pressing enter ech time
chainloader +1
boot
Option 2:
If you have a dual boot system select Vista and then press F8 for advanced options. For a single boot system press F8 at boot
This will give you the advanced options, select the ‘Repair your Computer’ option
Takes a minute or so for Windows to load files
A familiar sight
Samsung Splash screen
Select a keyboard layout
Login as an Administrator
This will give you the standard Vista recovery console plus an extra SRS option
From here proceed as normal.
Something I’ve noticed is that although it detects there are multiple Windows installs it only gives the option to image the first one (which despite the menu above is actually XP). Anyone know a way around this?
