Click on samsung network manager. Click Add. House should be filled in. Click next. Select sharing client wireless. The network adapter should be displayed. You can fill in the connection name and network key. But how the heck do you submit it. The screen resolution has cutoff the box so you can’t see buttons at the bottom no matter how high you try to move the box up. How can we connect to a secure network if we can’t fill in the data and submit. I even tried an external monitory but the screen resolution height is 600. The box for the network manager is much bigger than that.
On a related question, how do we get the mac address for this computer? It was not printed on the stickers on the bottom. I have a secure network that hides itself unless the mac address is in its list. Without knowing the mac address it is impossible to add it.
I cannot get this computer on my secure home network. Any ideas folks?

[/quote1228940783]Start -> Run -> type cmd [enter]
in the command window type: ipconfig /all [enter]Your mac is physical address.

December 10, 2008 at 8:43 pm #174721wcwMemberThank you very much. I was able to get the mac address. I put that in the mac address filter in my network setup in the primary computer. Then I was able to bring up the connection screen for the hidden network and enter the network key. Everything is working. Thanks again.
December 10, 2008 at 8:44 pm #174718WilliamYZFMemberI am curious as to the benefits of Samsung’s Network manager. I have opted to let XP do its thing.
December 10, 2008 at 8:53 pm #174722wcwMemberProbably nothing since the box doesn’t let you click a button because it is off screen.
Thanks again for that link. There were two adapters w/mac address listed so I used the wireless one and all is well.
Great forum.

Glad it worked, when I clicked on it it had timed out or was invalid? Hence my amended post
