I just bought a new Samsung NC10 10.2″ white on eBay with 30% off CB and also still have my eBay 10% off coupon(YMMV with coupon).
Total for me:
$509.84 *.30 = $152.95
$509.84 – $152.95 = $356.89
Then, I have also a 10%off eBay coupon (expiring 11/30/08) that they sent me to email and so:
$509.84 *.10 = $50.89Total Cost: $356.89 – $50.89 = $305.91 after coupon and cashback.
Great price.
I know about that, but I am not so into the whole pay now, you will prob. get a rebate later on Microsoft live thing. Something about it seems odd. Curious to hear how it all works out
I did that, thinking SO many people have done the live.com rebate, that if it fails the news will be all over it, and Microsoft doesn’t want that kind of publicity.
Total for me after rebate and coupon was $325… I couldn’t resist! 🙂
Well, it’s not like Microsoft is a fly by night organization. 😉 I think they’re good for the rebate.
I didn’t have a coupon, and got my blue Sammy on Ebay with a 25% off cashback rebate. Paid $435 total. Should be getting it this week.
I just bought a NC10 on ebay as well.. used the 30% off ms live.com coupon and tried to use the 10% off i was sent by ebay. That coupon didn’t go through and i was stuck in the middle of my purchase. Tried a few other coupon’s from paypal which also didnt work. so.. for now i got paid $550-165. It was cheaper for me to buy the one that was $550 with free shipping than the one for $509 with tax here in Californa. I’ve emailed paypal so we wil see if I can get the other 10% back. If so it will be a pretty good deal at $330. The $165 has already showed in my cashback account as pending so i think that will go through. The seller was also advertising the cashback so Im sure he’s a qualified seller. Should have the netbook this week sometime. Will advise if the 10% gets rebated to me or not!

I figured it out!I have a live.com account… I can’t seem to find the 30% cashback. I have been trying for the last day or two. Does anyone have any pointers?

Just a quick follow up on my above post. I called paypal and they applied the 10% off coupon. That should bring my NC10 down to about 330 when it’s all said and done. The $165 is showing pending in my cashback account so I’m pretty sure it’s going to go through!

Speed, Thanks alot. yeah.. makes it more fun to get a good price. The seller is giving me a choice of white or blue so now i have to make that decision 🙂 .I would take both and sell one off, and the deal even gets better. for ya ….LOL…. I have the blue Acer 1 and just to much with the finger prints…. I’m for the white one…. Good Luck…
Cashback percentage reduced to 25% just a few hours ago 🙁
Over the summer, the percentage was as high as 35%. Maybe after the holidays it will spike up to 30-35% again.

After you’ve got your cashback account all set up, then you can do a search for “netbook” and look for the cashback Ebay gold coin to click on. Then you’ll have a hour or two to browse through the choices (or you can do your Ebay browsing beforehand and put your chosen auction into your watch list, then go straight to that after you click on the cashback gold coin.) You’ll need to use “Buy it now” and Paypal for this to work.
