I think it supposed to be used to make your own unique key configuration, like when you press a combo it opens an application. But… it doesn’t work…November 27, 2008 at 1:22 pm #171831hef
Memberholy crap, if that worked it would be amazing.

MemberI think the Magic keyboard is just the ability to use the ‘fn’ key to control your computer. Like to use the speed control or brightness.
I don’t think it does anything else, but I may be wrong.

MemberWhen I look at Magic Keyboard properties, no entry can be made in the setup fields. I think Samsung needs to provide a fix for this.

MemberI also thought this was a bug at first when I didn’t know exactly what the Magic kbd did. I do not think it is a bug, it should be like this.

So you now do know what Magic Keyboard does? Please, fill us in.November 29, 2008 at 12:31 pm #171830Freddy
MemberThe Samsung Magic keyboard is only used for making the keyboard recognizing NC10-specific shortcuts like brightness setting, volumecontrol and shortcuts one the F1-F12 keys, i.e almost all of the keyboard combos that requires use of the Fn-key combo.

[/quote1229430397]Having uninstalled Magic Keyboard, the only two things that have stopped working with respect to the FN keys are F7 and F8 which do the speed thing and errr I’m not sure what the other one did in the first place. Brightness and volume, sleep, battery, € (just used it here!), wireless on/off control, touchpad control, numpad and scroll lock all still work.
So in other words Magic Keyboard seems only to control the F7 and F8 keys full stop.
Perhaps explains why these are blue rather than black on the Blue NC10 and Black NC10.
