MemberAt least that’s what happened after I registered my NC10. A Samsung, “FREE 3-month warranty extension,” page greeted me after I registered my machine (samsung usa).

MemberAm I right in thinking that you only get 3 month warranty in the USA? So by registering you get 6 month, I wonder if that will work here in the UK, giving use 15 months.
off to try.

MemberScratch that, I’m not filling in the questionnaire, why do they need to know if I own my own house.

MemberI have just registered my NC10 with Samsung UK but was able to skip the personal questions page.
Edit: Personal questions included asking if you own your house and how much you earned.

MemberHum, I never even saw a personal question page. I must have developed an unconscious privacy filter. Anyway, I didn’t have to answer any personal questions either…

MemberWell, that’s strange. I promise I’m not making it up :).
I have another NC10 I got for my girlfriend I need to set up for her office today, and I’ll see what happens when I register hers.
Regardless, I don’t think it is a bad thing to register (that’s why I did it in the first place).

MemberI will try again.

ParticipantI registered in the US and didn’t get any extensions screen.

MemberI stand corrected. The EMAIL I received after registering mentioned the extra 3 months of warranty 🙂

MemberThat’s strange, I got a repeat of my last post just less than an hour after I placed the original post. Anyone any idea why?

No, not correct. We get 12 months parts and labor in the USA, too. And this kicks it up to 15 months.btw, I just registered my girlfriend’s NC10, and received a 3 month extension in an email, but no confirmation page. Strange thing is, I didn’t get the confirmation email the first time, but got the confirmation page. Maybe Samsung is just rolling out the program, and is working out the glitches.
edit: I should add, the only “personal questions” asked were: where I bought it, why I bought it, and what I thought of Samsung quality. All reasonable questions, imo.
