Hi,
Using Recovery Solution can I only make one Complete Backup of my C: drive to the D: drive?
If I try to perform a second full backup it tells me that an existing backup will be overwritten.
I’d like to keep the last 2 or3 rolling backups on the D: drive.
Cheers,
MM
yup
Rename the existng SamsungRecovery folder, then you can create a new backup. Of course when you restore, you must remane the particular recovery folder that you want to use to SamsungRecovery.
Thanks mauwong, I’ve just returned from trying this and swapping between different backups, it works a treat.

also i saved a couple backups on dvds. this way i can restore with the DVD or D drive.
You can save backups on usb drive or external hard drive. The Samsung recovery remembers the locations. The dumb thing is that there is no option to tell it where a backup is, so a backup made on one NC10 can’t be ‘restored’ on another NC10, the second recovery solution won’t know where the first one wrote the backup.

I only have 1 nc10. i know when i restored from the dvd, i had the dvd in the drive when i went into the recovery, i clicked on a tab and it gave me a choice to restore from the dvd or d drive. i guess it just doesn’t understand when it is a different nc10.
