MemberJust wonder if it is possible? How can you get the PS3 to recognize the NC10 and vise versa? I heard you could insert a data dish into the PS3 and send that disc or info over bluetooth the the computer. NO idea how or if it is really possible?

MemberPersonally, I use TVersity to connect my PC to the PS3 – and I assume I’ll be able to download TVersity on my NC10 and do the same thing.

MemberJust got my computer so will try that. Thanks. Really don’t want to spend more for an external usb cd drive if avoidable. Tried to pair them today but not able to get either one to recognize the other….Sure LOVE this computer though!

MemberPersonally I use PS3 Media Server – streams all my videos, including MKV right over to the PS3 😀

MemberCan’t remember how but my PS3 is hooked up to my PC and NC10 via Media Center Extender. Means I can share folders on my NC10 and they become available to me on the PS3. This is fine for supported file formats, but if you want to play files the PS3 can’t play as standard then you need to go for a streaming option.
Thanks Mattyd, I’m going to give that one a go.

MemberI just use MS Win Media Player 11 to stream everthing from PC to PS3 works without any issues and no loading of any 3rd party software.

MemberDan, you just have to set up media sharing on WMP. Its very easy to do indeed.

I am not sure it works on NC10 though as that’s quite a feet, wireless NC10 > router > PS3
But I use it on my desktop machine which is hard wired to my router and I can stream 720p TV episodes no problem to the PS3 which is connected wirelessly.
