MemberI noticed dixons has reduced the nc10 to 309.99 and if you use the vat3 voucher, it will mean £300.69. The white one is £318.01 for some reason
Also free delivery

MemberHappy5 just worked for me as well, and it was great to see someone with blue NC10s still in stock (I hope…). I was determined not to pay more than £300 and the chances of that happening before Xmas were beginning to seem remote. I did then pay a bit extra to get it delivered on Saturday morning as it’s hard to be in during the week but total was still only £308.
So that’s 2 big events to mark next Saturday as a special day. – Sammy in the morning, Pogues gig in the evening. This is going to be a good Xmas!

MemberI wandered into PC World and they had upped the price to £322. What price the credit crunch?

MemberI don’t think anyone thought they would sell in the numbers they are selling, (including Samsung!) so the price rise was not going to impact too much because people wanted to buy one.
Over the £300 was a sticking point for me, so I kept looking.
With the delivery I chose, I’ve still gone over the max price I set myself, but only by £6.23The price at play went up more than 10%, (£30)
if you also include the RAC voucher plus quidco, their price is over £45 more now than when they first listed it.I am 100% sure the price will drop after Christmas, but I didn’t want to wait, I hope it is worth the money I’ve paid, I’ll find out when it arrives
BTY that price at PC World has been the same each time I’ve checked it on-line while trying to buy my NC10.
Both Currys & Dixons price has yo yoed up & down for the last two weeks with Dixons always cheaper when I looked.December 8, 2008 at 12:16 am #174121mother
MemberYeah, £300 was a sticking point for me. I always thought of netbooks really being sub £250 but with the new 10in screens etc I was prepared to pay up to £299.99.
Finally picked on up from Pixmania last week for £282 delivered. It should arrive tomorrow. For those who are still looking I would say wait until January if you can and the prices will be heavily discounted I reckon. Back around the £280 mark.
