We took delivery of a nice 24 inch hd monitor at work today and i needed to test the unit to ensure no dead pixels. so the choice was hook up a dull hp laptop or hook my nc10 up and test a dvd.
The nc10 automaticallys deteted the monitor and switched to dual view. after a few changes to the settings the nc10 outputted a native 1920*1080 display and played the dvd without a hint of slowing down and in excellent quality.
Quite amazed at the power of these units as i remember the days when pc’s stuttered when playing dvds (god im old)
lol yeah Im old enough too – but what about when PCs stuggled to encode or play MP3s?! Those were the days!
That is excellent findings! Like ive posted before I easily hooked mine up to my newer flat screen TV. If they come with a VGA port then it is really easy to do (note to others – older TVs are a different story!).
