So my girlfriend’s Pink Samsung NC10 arrived today along with her custom case which she ordered from barrysfarm.net
I figured I would post a couple quick pictures I took next to my white NC10 and a couple pictures of my Zero Shock case compared to her Barrys Farm Case.

The case was ordered from barrysfarm.net and apparently they custom made it to fit the NC10. It took around 2 weeks or so for the case to arrive after she ordered it, and cost around $42 shipped. There is quite a bit of padding on the top and bottom but the edges leave much to be desired. Overall the case is well built and the site has a lot of different cases to choose from. The case is made of Vinyl so it should be water proof. It seems a little big for the NC10 compared to my Zeroshock case (8.9″) but when you actually put the NC10 in there it doesn’t feel like it is moving around. For $36 shipped, I think I will stick with my Zeroshock case. However, if you care about “cute” factor, take a look at barrys farm.

Sammy’s definitely have anthropomorphic character, it must be why we love them.Awww that’s pretty! I do like the pink colour, now if they brought one out in luminous green i’d snap it up. Nice find with the custom case site, they look cool but the shipping to the U.K. is too expensive for me.

Now..I just have to ask about your Zeroshock III case. Would you recommend another NC10 user to get the 8.9″ version or go with the 10″ version now that you have hands-on experience with the 8.9″-version?
Kirkuk- That would be correct, I tried to take a picture that showed that, but from the front the two are basically identical… Hers seems to be more of a true white though, its brighter, and also instead of a silver strip her’s is pink.
Freddy- if you look in the “slips and cases” thread in the Accessories forum I talked a little bit about my ZeroShock and the 8.9 VS. the 10″. Based on my experience thus far, keep in mind I have never actually tried a the ZeroShock III 10″ case, I am 100% satisfied with my decision to go with the 8.9″. It fits perfectly, I don’t think that I could ask for a better fit.
If you buy on ebay from the guy who is selling them in the States, I am pretty sure he allows returns within the first 6 days or something. So my advice is order the 8.9″ and if for some reason you think the fit is too tight, then go the next step up to the 10″. But I have confidence if you get the 8.9″ you will keep it!
Cheerswow that’s actually a gorgeous looking pink finish. I am a guy myself, but my gf would dig that color!
Case is super cute too! too bad my gf has an 16.4 laptop for her interior design class.
I’m very tempted to buy my girlfriend one for her birthday, she loves my black NC10 and I often can’t find it as she’s scurried away with it.
The strip seems to be more of a matte finish. Yes, the lid is picking up finger prints, but it’s really not too bad.
