Hi, after installing Microsoft Office 2007 the Spell Check facility in Outlook Express 6.0 changes from English to French!. This is apparently a widely known problem with no fix planned by Microsoft. Has anyone got any tips or trusted TP downloads. There is no other language option available within OE6. Would prefer English UK fix. Thanks

TinySpell which checks the spelling as you type.

Using the custom install option, you can install just the proofing tools from a previous version of Office. The proofing tools can be installed from any older Office suite or application – including FrontPage, Publisher, Word, Excel, or Outlook. This will not affect the functioning of Office 2007.
For example, to install just the proofing tools from Office 2003:
-
Run Office setup and choose the custom option
-
Untick all programs in the list except tick to select ‘Options’ at the bottom of the programs list
-
On the next screen set each top level item to be Not Available (red X icon)
-
Expand the Office Shared Features branch and locate Proofing tools in the list
-
Expand proofing tools and choose English and set it to Run from my computer
-
Finish the installation
Once the proofing tools are installed, restart Outlook Express and go to Tools, Options and verify Spelling is configured to use the English UK dictionary.

Hope this helps 🙂

I had one day when I was very nervous, reason of my outlook express files were lost. For luck I easily worked out my trouble thanks to a software. I was found it on a soft blog. It turned out good program and I was glad to work with it. Moreover the tool has many good features for resolving different troubles – corrupted outlook express.
