MemberI have seen people figure out the oqo2, some people has success with the HP2133 (though not perfect yet, video drivers were problematic though worked at 1024×786 and without any acceleration – probably not enough to drive me to the store). Is anyone gonna work on this? Try this? I’d buy one in a heartbeat if it could work (especially if the 3g dummy becomes real 3g and if someone were to confirm 2GB RAM upgradability).
With the NC10 both the wired and wireless LAN was an issue with OSX. While the wireless is easily swappable, the wired was on the motherboard. Since I have to use wired LAN this was one of the reasons I did not buy an NC10. Does the NC20 come with the same chips?

MemberHi levil, as a general rule on the forum I ask people not to talk about how to insall OsX due to Apple not supplying legit installs or supporting these types of installs.
But if anyone has any info on these questions then go ahead. Lets see how the thread develops!
Can I also suggest checking the http://www.insanelymac.com site as they seem to know all about this sort of thing!

MemberDear Jez. This makes perfect sense. In that case, I would also ask everyone not to supply any information on how to install OSX on any non-Apple (Samsung) hardware.
On the other hand a detailed list of hardware in the NC20, availability of OSX drivers for these hardware, past confirmed operation with other machines that have these hardware are what I was really interested in in the first place. Thanks.
Great site by the way. Thanks for your hard work

MemberOops… i found this Thread after posting the News about Mac OS X on Netbooks…
So jez if you find my news-links not suitable just remove them. 😉
BTW: In the EU its fully legal to use a legally purchased copy of Mac OS X on any system you want so lucky Me!
Unlike the US of A it actually makes a difference in the EU if you use a pirated Version of Mac OS X (of the net) to create a Hackintosh or if you just buy a retail copy of Mac OS X and modify a bootloader (not the OS itself) to install Mac OS X.
This brings up the Question: Where is this Website hosted?

MemberI don’t see any mainstream sites selling it here in the UK? I have read articles about Apple sueing distributers of machines with OSX installed.
Like I said, if people want to discuss the theoretical capabilities of the NC20 and whether it can run OSX then go ahead but if you want to go into detail then give one of the Mac forums a go. There was some great discussion of the NC10 over at insanlymac so there is no shortage of interested people!
Thanks guys for being understanding. I am just not in a position to fight any battles so I want to be very cautious. Sorry!

[/quote1235387985]Yeah no problem at all. I can fully understand that and yeah, instad of going into detail on this forum, all post made about Mac OS X should just point people into the right direction -> Hackintosh Forums.

It’s ok to use a modified EFI Bios / Bootloader to install a otherwise fully unmodified and unpirated Retail Copy of Mac OS X on a System of your choice.
Do the same thing for commercial gain and apple will sue you to moon and back.
There was an interesting article in an german IT B2B Magazine on how some of the EU Laws are just weird.
