when my netbook was on i took my fingers and pressed a little on the top of the netbook. i actually could see the shadow of my fingers on the screen. i thought this is strange. i think it is a good idea never to put anything with weight on top of your netbook, or you might end up with an impression on your screen. i wonder if this is what caused the blotches.
it’s the luquid in the display, it’s like a mobile phone so if you managed to break the screen the liquid would leak
please correct me if i am wrong
but should you be able to see your fingers when you press the top of the netbook. should the top of the netbook be more solid. i pressed the top of my old laptop, my finger impressions do not come through on the screen.
sorry i did not read your original post.
No it shouldn’t, when i press on the lid i dont see my fingers at all. I do know what you mean, i have seen it on some laptops in work
do you know if that is a bad thing. i really don’t want to return it. do users develop serious problems from this.
One of the reviews I read commented on this, really shouldn’t be a problem though unless you’ve got something hard pressed against in your case
There’s not a great deal of clearance between the case & screen, nature of the beast
the best thing is never put anything heavy on top of it. some people they stack one laptop on top of another, this one you can not stack.
