The Samsung recently caught my eye, when it won allot of the head to head netbook articles around the net. The only thing that really have bugged me about all these netbooks before taking the plunge have been the integrated graphics.
I have a 15′ laptop and its just to heavy and cumbersome. I need something light, small and powerful I can take with me. Price was not the main issue or what I wanted for a netbook. I just wanted a powerful light and mobile machine in the 10′ range. I was looking at the expenssive Asus N10, but It has a high price(800 dollars).
What is the chances for Samsung adopting this new technology by Nvidia? And when might we see it in the NC10, if at all? 50 dollars higher price, seems like a tiny thing in comparrison to what you would get.
with a 9400m wouldn’t it also mean that I would be able to plug the NC10 into my HDTV and display my desktop in a high resolution, even though the NC10s screen only supports 1024x??? – ? that would rock.
Even though the NC10 only has a 1024×600 resolution display on the machine itself, the intel integrated graphics chip is capable of displaying your desktop at high resolution on an external monitor — that is why there is a VGA port on the computer in the first place! Don’t expect it to play 1080p HD video flawlessly, but for things like web browsing and youtube videos it should work fine using your hdtv as a big computer screen.
