As reported in PC Pro “Microsoft has announced that there will be no more beta versions of Windows 7, as the operating system skips straight to Release Candidate status”
I can see its general release later this year. I hear Vista SP2 is out for testing ,so that could be out soon leaving the way clear for Win 7.
I agree.
Windows 7 was slated for RTM in August 2009 – perhaps Microsoft has finally discovered managing user expectation, i.e. promise a little and deliver a lot more sooner 🙂
Well, I hope they release it soon… I’m going to have issues going back to XP in August if they don’t allow us to continue testing this beta version. 🙂
