Ok, so I used the “sticky” thread about tweaking the NC10 to make it run faster, and I appreciate all the advice and tips. Only problem is … I have no audio whatsoever now. The little icon that’s usually in the lower right hand corner isn’t there, and when I try to play video in my windows media player, I get no audio at all — through speakers or headphones.
I’m sure this is an easy fix, but I’m new to this, so… can anyone help me? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks
PS – I went to “run” and typed in “SNDVOL32.EXE” and got the following message: “There are no active mixer devices available”
PSS – Problem fixed. Went to “run,” then “services.msc,” then adjusted the windows audio properties to automatic. Just wanted to let you know so no one wastes their time in trying to help me 🙂
Thanks, plus it is also useful for others who come across the same problem!
