October 5, 2012 at 8:56 pm #217039sammyoneMemberI MAY be wrong, but according to the last SRS recovery in the NC10 & etc STICKY section.
You build your own admin tool from inside SRS 5 (OR 4 OR iii) QUOTE…
Create the Admin Tool Disk.
When Recovery Solution is started and when you get to the option to restore your computer
push [CTRL]+[ALT]+[F10] password: secos.
Look through the option to create an Admin tool disk.
You can safely use your previous grub4dos USB drive.
DO NOT USE THE USB STICK WITH THE PARTITION COPY!When that is completed, exit and boot with the USB stick.
HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL…

I own a NP305E5A-A08US netbook and lost my recovery partition when i mistakenly replaced my windows 8.1 with Ubuntu. After following alot of tutorials I was able to rebuild my Recovery Partition with the AdminTool i did a Complete backup and Saved my current C as my initial status. But windows wont boot pass a bcd error whenever i do a Complete Restore.I only get it to boot fine when I boot SRS5, hit ctrl+alt+F10 and click Command prompt
it appears as such X:WINCLON
I change directory to X: by typing cd..
And type X:bcdboot C:Windows /S C:
finally I Boot files successfully created
After restart and it boots perfectly
I need help in getting my restores booting without doing any dos commands
HELP OUTMarch 31, 2014 at 9:00 am #217040sammyoneMemberPlease see the OTHER post you made – which I answered just a few minutes ago… Thank you
