MemberOmg, the gloss screen! Why do they always need to ruin it all with this damn glass? Imagine this bezel-free cover in matte finish, it’ll be gorgeous and user actually could look at the picture on the monitor, not at himself in the mirror… And they could actually fit 11″ looking at he size of that bezel.
Otherwise splendid machine. I’d buy it instantly, if it was matte.March 23, 2009 at 8:19 am #187363dino
Membertalk about milking the market! it looks huge compared to the NC10 – probably mostly due to the large ASUS-like bezel around the screen. while i like HSPDA and i hope that’s a gloss finish LCD, seems like only cosmetic changes to the same innards. nice spot though 20syl.
i’m waiting for them to say it’s the first ION netbook, but alas methinks it is too soon to be true….

MemberIt just screams Japanese don’t it 🙂
Think Samsung have done well with the design in that respect. Geared towards the Japanese market. Still, eugh, gloss screen, disgusting!

MemberWow, when did Samsung become Asus? Heck, even Asus is reducing the number of netbook models they have out to reduce confusion.
And why didn’t they upgrade to the Atom N280?
I guess the NC10 special edition isn’t so special after all…
Pugrider, who is still waiting for the NC20 to be released in the US

MemberLooks an interesting design, but come on we all know that in Europe and US it won’t be fitted with 3G unless tied to a contract. Hell I’d be happy if they just left an empty mini pci port inside.

MemberScreen looks like a real pain in the ass to disassemble and mod.

I don’t know why they are making this glossy screens, it’s really annoying…
