System BIOS/MICOM (ver.03CA). You could get from Samsung website…
Best regards…
Is this new?
I spotted this earlier but wasn’t too sure how to find out what version i’v got..Thanks i’ll download it now
I just updated we are all on ver.02CA only takes 5 mins too
I’ve already updated but there do not appear to be any additional options in the Bios setup.
anyone got the direct link?
Anyone know what updaing to this version gives you?
thanks
Just upgraded! Thank you! Took about 5mins, connect to the AC-adapter, just run the .exe file and reboot when it asks you to.
If you don’t know which improvements the new BIOS contains, don’t upgrade. Strange that Samsung doesn’t mention the reason of the new BIOS…
I would be suspicious that, if Samsung are not declaring anything, then this may actually be fixing something that they’d rather not mention.

Functionally nothing, there are no additional settings in the Bios that I have noticed. Working on the assumption that it was released for a reason behind the scenes something has changed, hopefully for the better.
I am just a sucker for having the moist up to date drivers, bios etc. 🙂
The manual in the Sofware section also seems to have been updated. There are two types of manual and this one has jumped from 1.2.0.0. to 1.3.0.0. I looked at it on 6/11, so it has updated since them.
All of the downloads are showing as being updated on 28/11; however, they are not actual updates as all the versions are the same as of 6/11 when I last looked – the BIOS is an upate though.
I’m mostly concerned with an alteration with the fan settings. Can anyone who has updated fill us in whether the fan is more/less noisy now, or the same?
I might be wrong, but now when you say it I think the fan works more after upgrade and is more noisier, I could be mistaken though…
Anyone else?
Well its as simple as this,Samsung are obviously doing this due to a concern they might have so its for the best…And also when important bios releases are made it will still contain this one,so at some point of other you’re going to upgrade…
