Hi everyone,
I just got my NC10 yesterday. Do you guys notice that the internet speed is slower when the NC10 is unplugged ? It’s much faster when i plug the power in!
I own a HP compaq n2400, an also pretty small 12.1 inches laptop, and i have the same issue.
Any ideas ?

P/S: Both wifi and Lan connection are slower when unplugging.What do you have your power settings set at for running on the battery? If you are running at maximum battery life it could reduce the processor and other chip speeds for economy, this would probably affect the speed of everything.

You mean my Power Option? Control Panel/Power Option: I set the Power schemes at ” Portable/Laptop”Double click on the battery status icon in the system tray, This will bring up the application that lets you choose a power setting. If your NC10 is set to run at 800MHz when on battery, this could effect rendering times for the more complex websites. Try changing the battery setting for the processor to full. See if that makes a difference.
