netbook and camera bag?

Im looking for a bag that has compartments for a slr camera and also a compartment for my sammy as this would be so much handier than carryin two bags around. i really want one that has proper padding etc for a camera and not just a bag with a large compartment for anyythin. any ideas?

There is a lot of bags for that purpose, so it could be difficult to know exactly were point you at… I think if you search on http://www.adorama.com, you will find a lot of bagpacks that you can use…

Can you be more specific about what SLR are you trying to take with you? Grip or not? How much lenses? Flash?… You know what I mean… and sorry if I wrote a long post… I’m a photographer myself… 😀

I use several different bags from the Lowerpro fastpack series. The smallish Fastpack 200 for when im travelling light and need only my camera and a spare (maybe 2 lenses). Although that is probably useless for your needs as there is no dedicated compartment for your sammy! I also use a Fastpack 250, which is a fair amount bigger, but still not huge. I can fit easily a Large SLR body (my D3 fits with ease) and about 3 lenses (depending of focal length and aperture). Plus this also has a large top pocket for anything else you might need, and a compartment on the back which will accomodate upto a 15″ Laptop. My Macbook Pro used to more or less live in there, but now my Sammy does, and is more or less swallowed by the space, but still well padded and supported!

There are bigger Camera/Laptop bags around, but i rarely need to carry anything else apart from this. Unless im working somewhere professionally. Then in that case i take with me a Computrekker AW. (Again by Lowepro). This has a large laptop compartment and will accomodate a machine upto 17″! Plus i can fit around 6 lenses and 2 SLR bodies in there, plus a flashgun and the usual bits and bobs.

If you still need more room, then you are carrying to much gear!
