hi guys. i havent posted in awhile because i’m still waiting for my nc10 to ship out. since i should get it this week, i had a question about the UK power supply that comes with the nc10. I live in the US and was trying to figure out if i can plug this cord into the UK power supply to make it work with a US outlet. heres the cord i was looking at:

please help me because i dont want to mess up the machine. thank you
The transformer is a 100-250v so autoswitches to the supply voltage so a standard figure of eight cable should work, obviously i cant gurantee it myself having not tried but i cant see why not
I concur with the ring, in fact I haven’t even opened up my figure of 8 cable that came with the NC10, I’ve been using my printers one lol.
If US power is around about 240 volts/230 volts (i.e. not 500 or something crazy different) then you should have no problems using a figure of 8 cable as from your link or a radio or whatever 🙂ok thank you guys. i will order the cord from expansys since thats where i ordered the sammy and try it out and see how it goes. hopefully ill get my nc10 soon because as soon as i do i will post more in the forum. thanks again for your help. i appreciate it.
I agree. This should (will) work. I had the same problem as I ordered my Samsung NC10 from UK and I live in Sweden (not the same power outlet). I just changed the chord from the AC-adapter to the wall.

I can confirm that you shouldn’t have any problems with the power supply issue. I used to work in New York and took various UK laptops with me and they all worked OK with the supplied power cord and the right plug
you guys are the best. i love this forum. on a side note, as i was checking on my order status, i noticed it changed from shipping in 2 days to shipping by december 26. darn expansys. i am getting impatient now. i guess i can add the power cord to the order now that i have reassurance. cheers Sam Sung, freddy, jonbad, and TheRing. thanks
