MemberWell, several things – will it allow multitouch when Win7 comes out? That’s a pretty big thing. Also wondering about the type of screen, is it matte or glossy? I also wish they’d just offer us higher resolutions 🙁

MemberOK, that looks pretty cool. The big question for me would be how does it affect battery life though…

MemberIs there anybody here that already installed one?

MemberYesh I have one installed it a few days ago it been very useful so far. Not the easiest install as you have to take most of the sammy apart but its been pretty cool so far especially with web browsing

MemberIs the touch screen changed the device appearance? I mean does the screen look different or something like that?

Member..yes, and is there any noticeable bulging in the screen bezel (surround)? Does the lid close properly?

MemberNo you actually remove some backing plates and replace them with these rubber shock absorbers which are not as deep so there is no bulging or any gaps, the ebay link has a link to the install instructions. The kit comes with a hubbing leaving you with two extra internal usb slots.
I installed windows 7 beta last night and it has been working very well with the touch screen windows 7 has some brilliant tablet features wich xphome edition did not have.January 13, 2009 at 10:07 pm #176587wuzhennin

MemberPDF Install guide can be found here
I would love to see a vid of this working 😉 I would be very interested in knowing if multi-touch will be supported by this panel. Have you tested any multi-touch software with it? More info required Reign-Mack!!
