[NC10]Test before and after 2go

Hi all,

I have changed my memory and done some same tests before and after.
All are here http://nc10.forumactif.com/windows-f4/test-xp-avec-1go-2go-nc10-samsung-t33.htm this is in French but juste look at the screens taken left 1go and 2go right.

On 3Dmark I was ahving many things like the video card isn’t 128mo on max but only 121.
For the rest all is the same after and before 2go.

the only difference its about to do more thing in time but no speedy thing like windows opening, games performances. Its same a little better with 1 to 2…

I would say that most casual users won’t see much improvement. But then for £20 I said to myself “why not”. I certainly don’t think there is any pressing need to upgrade though!

I wont be rushing to upgrade mine to 2Gb, although it WILL get done at some point in the future… ;o)

After 4 days, I think i’ts the same BUT using firfox i have no more lag to open pages with lots of pics and infos, i can open more pages on the same time. The loading is the same at start and as it have said that cheaper and easy to done.

i project to install also Vista and done the same tests, I think it would be interessant, isn’t it.

The 2 gigs is only handy for a RAM disk for swap files and IE cache.
