Cheapest Crucial
The cheapest of the two options is the Crucial 2GB stick bought from Ebuyer.com.
Only £19.15 with Super Saver (5 Working Days).http://www.ebuyer.com/product/142421
Both prices are before the 2.5% VAT tax reduction that is being taken off on Monday 1st of December. Therefore if you wait till next week…they will be even cheaper!

November 26, 2008 at 7:55 am #171552hefMemberyou know, if you bought a thousand of them, you’d probably get them for a few pence each.
if you buy a thousand quad cores you get them for $1.60 each.
November 26, 2008 at 8:55 am #171546jezMemberWhich is great if you want a 1000 of them 😛
November 26, 2008 at 11:39 am #171554OneTimeMemberI knew people would find them cheaper somewhere…lol. Will update now 😀

[/quote1227699580]Its PC-5300 which is 667Mhz.
Max is 800Mhz but I’ve seen in reviews that it doesn’t make full use of the speed and even down clocks the ram to 667Mhz.

I paid £17.50 for mine from amazon![red=amazonukram]Amazon Ram Upgrade[/red]
[/quote1227700251]Does that include shipping?
and looking at that link…I can’t find anywhere that it says it is 2GB…lolEdit: Just checked it…says the total comes to £21.45.
It is from a company rather than Amazon so you can’t get free delivery. £21.45 with Standard delivery (3-5 working days). It is cheaper tho…but it doesn’t say it is 2GB anywhere…can i have confirmation before i edit plz.November 26, 2008 at 12:09 pm #171547jezMemberFunny that, I can’t see 2gb on it either. But that is the one I bought. I must have filtered out shipping costs. Oops. Anyway there was another supplier offering it and it clearly says 2gb so I changed that amazon link [red=amazonukram]now[/red]! That one is £17.40 + £3.85 shipping! £21.25
To use the CMS redirect functionality the amazon link is: /b]red=amazonukram]achor text[/red[b
Thanks OneTime.
November 26, 2008 at 12:22 pm #171557OneTimeMemberYup np. Will update to the £21.25 Corsair 2GB 😀
And i just bought that one from amazon. £21.25 is a sweet price for corsair ram 🙂
November 26, 2008 at 12:46 pm #171548jezMemberAgreed! I’m not convinced the extra 1gb has made a big difference but at that price – why not…
