Hi,
I’m writing you as a member of the german netbook forum. As you might know our german NC10 doesn’t have internal bluetooth so we are looking for ways to upgrade it.
It would be very nice if someone could take a picture of the original internal bluetooth module and especially of the other side of that little cable you can see in this picture that plugs into it.
We already have found a bluetooth module that perfectly fits into the NC10, now we only need to know the right connection with the NC10 mainboard.
So please do all german NC10 users a favour and take a picture of that bt module! Thank you!
The connector is just an internal USB connector.
I know that it’s just an internat USB port with 3,3v, but which cable coming from the bluetooth modul is +, -, USB+ and USB-?
Well it looks like they are using the same colour wires as the original, black, brown, red orange. So would it not be a direct replacement?
The cable is for a Acer Notebook (i think so…) which has a different pin layout than the NC10.
The easiest solution would be a photo of the original NC10 bluetooth module 🙂
Hey Airboader, I took that picture you mention in the original OP. If I get chance I will take my NC10 apart, trouble is the bluetooth is on the underside.
Will post back soon.
Hey, thank you so much for the pictures, I finaly got my bluetooth module working. Now I can enjoy my NC10 with 2GB Ram, 64GB SSD, integrated 3G/UMTS and bluetooth!
my pleasure. tell me, how did you do the 3G?
Me thinks the german nc10 comes with 3g as standard and bluetooth as optional…
we get the bluetooth as standard and 3g optional
I live in Finland but didn’t want to wait for NC10 to arrive here so I ordered mine from German.
I was little surprised when they didn’t offer bluetooth as a standard option but I didn’t want to pay extra 30 euros for it either.
So I ordered a tiny bluetooth adapter from dealextreme and that cost 3 euros 🙂
Works like a charm!
