December 13, 2008 at 1:13 pm #175543techguyoneMemberI wonder how fiddly they are to fit and how long they last before peeling, my experience of ‘stickers’ isn’t fantastic

[/quote1229184547]Same, how durable can these really be…
December 15, 2008 at 10:33 pm #175556saureyMemberThey look cheesy IMO.
December 15, 2008 at 10:34 pm #175553PanManMemberI bit my tongue after looking at how much the postage is
December 16, 2008 at 8:55 pm #175552dennisMemberNice skins, but $ 27 for postage? I reckon the skin is printed on some sort of paper and postage would normally be $1 or $ 2, max. $ 10 if registered.
Paying $ 53 ($26 + $ 27) is just crazy and not worth it (IMHO).
December 16, 2008 at 9:12 pm #175541dougpMemberI wonder if enough of us email DecalGirl.com, they’ll post specific Samsung NC10 skins instead of us having to use customs?
December 17, 2008 at 1:14 am #175547juancarlosMemberi had the same problem, i was looking for designs at 3acp but never found one to suit my taste. i saw some nice ones from decalgirl but they didnt have any for the nc10 so i decided to cut out my own skin from some left over carbon fiber vinyl from my desktop modding. i used the plastic cover that came with the brand new laptop as a template but gave it about half an inch more on all sides. the avery carbon fiber vinyl i used has an outdoor life of 2-3 years so im sure its pretty durable. it peels off pretty easy too without any residue. my nc10 looks very cool now, the picture really doesnt do it justice.

December 18, 2008 at 9:02 am #175546SideburntMemberthat carbon fibre vinyll looks good, but i feel the same, great when they first go on, but like a lunchbox when the corners start to peel up.
December 18, 2008 at 11:02 am #175557OlegGioMemberThose skins look really great, but shipping price 🙁
December 19, 2008 at 12:24 am #175548juancarlosMemberi really dont know what you guys are talking about, i wrapped my keyboard and mouse in the same carbon fiber vinyl more than a year ago and they still look as good today as the day i put the vinyl on. i game heavily on my desktop sometimes for several hours a day so my mouse and keyboard take a lot of abuse but ive had no problem with peeling whatsoever. so long as you apply it correctly it should last a really long time. in addition the vinyl isnt just there for looks, it keeps my lid scratch free so if ever i do decide to sell my nc10 in the future it will be in very good condition.
December 19, 2008 at 2:06 pm #175558OlegGioMemberBut I don’t want to wrap it with carbon fiber vinyl, I like their [ictured skins, just have to find better postage fees and order. BTW most of them offer just back skin, while one at ebay gives in addition frame and pad skins
December 21, 2008 at 8:36 pm #175559jrprichMemberWhere did you get the carbon fiber vinyl ?
