Has anybody considered installing this on their NC10?
–Ken
Mod Edit: Fixed URL.
that is very interesting if not a bit expensive. Doesn’t really say what you get for the subs.
Bookmarked though 🙂
It says that the less-good “Dual” version works with the Intel Atom processor, so it should work with the NC10.
I agree with Britman, though, it is rather expensive.
sounds interesting but the subs almost make Windows licences look cheap ;o)
EDIT:
Just ran the System Assesment Test (part of the installer and it reports
hmmm wonder if it’s because of the non standard MBR setup? (Ghost 2003 (from XP) barfs because of this as well)
I believe they will be releasing a “Netbook” version in March. Perhaps the NC10 will meet work with that version?

Overpriced, and a bit of a gimmick if you ask me! I find the Sammy boot / shutdown time (with a few tweaks) quite acceptable (30 – 45 secs to boot, 10-15 seconds shudown) .
there are a couple of RocketDock addon’s that will shut down the NC10 in about 4 seconds, while cleaning the temp files and emptying the recycle bin.
I don’t see how a netbook version will really help, since the current atom processors don’t support virtualisation, which is what this program seems to be built upon.
“The computing experience is slow and outdated.”
Really!
This is obviously aimed at people who don’t know anything about computing, because if it’s virtualisation like CITRIX it will be slow and outdated, I’d bet my NC10 that it’s buggy, glitchy and generally unpleasant to use
Bingo!
Never had my buzzword bingoticket filled up so quickly!
What the heck are they talking about in the video lol
