I just did the touchscreen install, which went perfectly.
The only problem is that the touchscreen adds extra weight to the screen, which makes the hinges less effective and a little loose. I opened her back up to see if I could tighten them but I don’t see a way to.
Anybody know of a way to tighten them up….?
when I press hard obviously the LCD retreats further, one solution is to Add more friction on the lower part of the LCD frame on so it rubs the lower part of the battery. In my touch screen kit I had little adhesive black strips you could use these. if anyone has a less crappy soultuion please tell me as i too suffer with the same problem
I wish someone would figure this out! 🙂
lol i have this issue, simple solution… cellotape…. just tape up the hinges and ur done 😉 granted it tough gettin it in there but it works a treat 😉
