Got a small boost in speed according to Sandra.
I sit at about 1.5GB free right now. Can’t really tell any real world differences yet but there is no such thing as too much RAM.
Funny, i just upgrade too.
I have quite the same result on Super Pi.
But i don”t try any bandwith test right now..
My new RAM is an OCZ one, PC5400, but inside my NC10 i found 1Gb PC6400s from Samsung. but the chipset can’t handle “such” a speed.
I didn’t check the old RAM, but my new is G.Skill PC5300 with a CL of 4 instead of 5.
SuperPi is pretty much all CPU driven, so that’s why there wasn’t an improvement there.

Neat tool – thank you berfles and Sandra too, of course :p
I should have run some benchmarks with the included 1GB of ram and then with the 2GB ram I bought. In saying that, from what I have read, the results are minimal in real world scenarios; unless you factor in Photoshop in those scenarios.
