Thank you sooo much for this!
I had my N110’s speaker issue repaired by the Service Centre.
When it came back, the keyboard was lifting in the top left corner. this really really annoyed me! (Only a small thing, but….aarrggghh!)
ANyway, I followed your guide and now the keyboard is back sitting where it should be, secure as anything!
FYI, my N110 does not have stickies holding the keyboard in place, rather, just the clips along the bottom, and two down each side (which is what it was ‘sitting on’).
In fact, all I needed to do was apply some pressure using a small flathead screw driver, at the point where the keyboard was ‘rocking’ on the small tab/clip, and ‘click’, in place it went.
I’m VERY happy now!
Thanks for the detailed post on how to replace the keyboard. I followed all the steps and the keyboard is replaced, but the mapping is all messed up. I have no idea what’s wrong with it… can anyone think of what could be wrong with it? Could the replacement keyboard I ordered off eBay be messed up? Or is there a way I can fix the mapping? Some keys don’t seem to do anything when I hit them… others are just mapped wrong.
it seems to be a problem with the whole “case” the keyboard is in, if you send it to samsung they dont just replace the keyboard but replace a lot more
I’m getting an error message for all the pictures in the guide. Does anyone have them saved?
Thanks for providing a comprehensive step by step guide on how to remove the keyboard from a laptop here at http://www.sammymobile.com
