Does anyone know how you can turn off the BT?
http://www.umpcportal.com/2008/11/hat-tip-samsung-more-on-nc10-battery-life this test said someone did it ok to gain extra battery life?
Or does it go off when you off wifi?
You need to right click the bluetooth icon in the sys tray and select “Stop the Bluetooth Device” – the white bit of the icon will turn red to show it is disabled.
To turn it back on again right click and select Start.
It’s a shame there is no function key for it, but it’s not a major pain…
ok cool thanks
ok. forgive me for interjecting when i have no practical way to test or verify this but i recon the only way to achieve this result is to re-wire the supply voltage to the bluetooth device to the supply voltage of the wifi card so that when you turn one off it turns both off.
if you can find another less important thing than the wifi that you can turn on/off that works on the same volatage as the the blueteeth then you could wire to that power source to give you device independance…
