FYI, Costco now has the NC10 for $479.99, including shipping. Advantages of buying through Costco (if you are a member) include a 90 day return policy (you can return to a store) and a two year extended warranty. Only blue is pictured, so that may be the only color they have.

I printed out the information from Costco.com, so it was there on January 6, 2009. The item # is 376742. I have emailed Costco to see if/when they expect to get more in stock, and what colors. I will post when I hear back, but nor before buying one myself!

If you want a white NC10 (they only carry blue now) please email Costco and let them know about your color preference (same goes for black). If enough people email their buyers will pay attention.
Side note- the HP 2140 is not yet available through Costco, but when it is I will post.

I emailed Costco last week asking if they would have the NC10 in white. The person that worte back didn’t have an answer for me. I read your comment and sent a new email to Costco:

I see that you have the Samsung NC10 in BLUE. I would really love to buy one from Costco in WHITE. Is there any chance that you will have this product in WHITE? There are MANY customers that want to purchase this product in white. Amazon.com has it for $449; however, I would prefer to buy from costco because of the great service I’ve received in the past. Plus, I am an executive member.

Pugrider, I meant to write sooner. I have to say a million thank you’s to you! It is because of you posting that Costco had the NC10 that I now sit with one typing this. (So EXXXCITED!!!)
I did not want to buy from online retailers with quirky return policies. The blotches on the screen were also holding me back.
As soon I I saw your post I ordered one. I checked my local Costco all December but nothing. I also checked Costco online for weeks. I had just about given up and came to this forum searching for info regarding another good place to buy. And wala there you were like an angel with an announcement. It was quite surreal.Anyhow they did ran out the day after I ordered b/c I went back and came up empty. I was even expecting an email saying they had run out and canceled my order. But no It was confirmed and shipped and here I am happy as a clam. So THANK YOU for keeping us informed!!
They appear to be gone from the Costco website at the moment. I hope the one I ordered a couple days ago gets shipped…
