I’ve been reading up a lot on users that got their NC10 with blotches late last year around Dec time frame.
I wanted to check and see if anyone has purchased a NC10 recently through J&R that has blotch-free screen?
I just can’t see spending $477 for a netbook that has blotches. But at the same time, i know the issues is probably batch by batch.
If anyone could let em know that would be great! I’m glad I found this site!!

[/quote1231452151]I can’t give you a percentage, but I can tell you that I had my NC10 replaced with Newegg and the new one is completely blotch free.
seemed to be most prevalent in the early batches. i haven’t read any blotches horror stories of recent purchases.
got mine jan.1st. no blotches. though my box doesn’t seem to have the production date stamped on it like others do.
Hi I received my NC-10(blue) yesterday and no blotches on my computer screen. Tab on carton is dated 11-19-2008. No visible manufacturing date of the PC anywhere.

but seriously, which carton and what flap?
the outer one with the asian sealing tape, or the inner carton with the sammsung labelling printed on it, or the accessories carton that has the sticker on it with rev1.5??????
The outside box that the computer came in . It is on one of the flaps near the plastic handle when you open the first flap.
