MemberThis question was prompted by a recent comment on the blog, a reader purchased DDR2 RAM for their N150 but it turns out it takes DDR3 RAM.
A little research seems to show that the N150 is on the Samsung site, and advertised, as having DDR2 RAM?
Have you got an N150? Where did you buy it (store/country)? What is the model number? Does it take DDR2 or 3 RAM?
Thanks.

MemberMaybe there is a mis-hap somewhere, or its another ‘plus’ mix up. This site claims the N150+ uses DDR3 – http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Samsung_N150_Plu_1041042.html as does this place – http://www.samsunglaptop.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=NP-N150-JP0LUK Also apparently got the N550 cpu.

MemberMy n150plus model is NP-N150-JP01PL and it takes ddr2 memories.
It is also written under the memory.

I got it along with wireless internet service from a network operator.

MemberI have a NP-N150-JP0LUK (N150 Plus). This is the dual core N550 model and it takes DDR3 RAM.

MemberWhat GSB1 stated is correct. The N150 Plus (N450 Processor) uses DDR2 and the N150 Plus (N550 Dual Core Processor) uses DDR3.

MemberI’ve just bought a N150 plus JP0EUK. I checked under the existing memory card and it states DDR3. I’ve been looking on Amazon at buying the upgrade to 2GBs. Can anyone tell me if this:http://www.amazon.co.uk/204-pin-SODIMM-PC3-10600-memory-module/dp/B002ZME33Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1310393615&sr=1-1 would be suitable?
Thanks

MemberJust a thought – The NP-N150 was a widely distributed model – it can be found ALL around the world, unlike some Samsung models
in fact, on the Samsung website, there are… 91 different variants, so everyone could be right.
