MemberHi,
This new model seems to be a NC10 in an NC20….
– screen 10,2”
– NC20’s chassi
– Battery life 10H30 (6 cells)
– wifi
– bluetooth 2.0
– webcam 1,3 Mpixels
– integrated speeaker (on each side) 1.5w SRS
– 1,28 kgNo NC20 in France, but samsung use the NC20’s chassi to made this netbook/notebook.
As usual, except for the NC10, Samsung try to sell something hybrid instead of make something really innovating, that’s my opinion.Source & Pics: here

MemberOkay, that is a little weird – more weight with less screen…

MemberThe rounding of the corners makes it closer and closer to MSI Wind and uglier and uglier. Samsung should stop screwing their design ….

MemberA classic case (no pun intended) of design and spec spot on with the NC10… then sales and marketing getting their hands on it and messing things up lol Seems to suggest that sales of the NC10 are diminishing and the NC20 isn’t selling as anticipated? Samsung are going the MSI route of confusing the consumer with options and models. Very strange.

MemberI don’t get it. A larger notebook with a small glossy screen and big wide bezel around it? Might as well give it a 12″ screen. So it would reduce the life of the battery a little; who cares?
Nothing Samsung has done in notebooks since the NC10 looks interesting except the N110. But the glossy screen and glossy finish ruins that.

MemberOne thing thats anoying me on the NC10 and other releases is the mousepad being off centre! whats the reasoning for it being more to the left?

MemberIt’s 10.1″ according to liliputing, and it says it’s going to weight 2.8 pounds. 10.5 hours of battery life.

MemberIt’s like they bulk bought too many atom motherboards and now need to get rid of them with endless variations on a theme!
Seems aimed at those people who first about 7 and 8 inch netbooks.
People want LESS bezel, not MORE samsung! Take note of Dell’s new Adamo.

[/quote1237971494]Yeah agreed, I’m already thinking about a “guide to the Samsung Netbook maze” page! It’s a shame that nothing here is screaming innovation. If other manufacturers are getting the upper hand it’s becuase their machines can offer something different. I’m sure the new designs will shake things up a little but is this going to help that much?
I hope that behind the scenes the R&D guys are coming up with something great for the end of the year! 🙂
