I LOVE MY SAMMY! I often get the “oh, its so cute” remark from other people. I’m happy with my choice of white. The keyboard fits me well. Keep in mind, I have spent a bit of time in the past typing on the Palm fold-out keyboard. I am a writer, and I was tempted to get an AlphaSmart for portability, but I actually never got around to it. When netbooks started appearing, it went straight to the top of my MUST HAVE list. I am not a techie. Battery life was what was most important to me, and through several weeks of research, I decided on Sammy, sight unseen. I was a little torn when I actually got my hands on the MSI WInd at Best Buy, but again, a 6 cell battery and longer battery life made the choice for me. It was smooth sailing right out of the box. I found it so easy to dual boot with XP & Win7 that I’m tempted to take my experiments even further. You may know what I’m talking about, but I will keep it off this forum. I love that I am not bound by the power cord: FREEDOM. I can’t wait until I can go to the beach with my SAMMY (not ON the beach, but at least on the boardwalk). I carry my Sammy every day in my purse, and yes I carry a BIG purse. LOL As a matter of fact, even without Sammy, my purse is heavier than Sammy. What can I say…I am a girly girl. This has been one of my best purchases in a long time.
Glad to hear you’re so happy with your new purchase bklynwriter. I don’t think many, if any, people have regrets after buying an NC10; even having using other netbooks.

Considering that as the NC10 has been so popular, you may get your wish sooner than you think!yeah you made the right choice. I bought asus 1000ha for myself and nc10 for my gf but ended up selling the asus one and I was forced to keep the samsung myself and I am glad it turned out that way. Even with the same spec on both netbook, I love the sleek look of the samsung. Plus, nc10 is almost silent when in use as opposed to asus 1000ha being quite noisy when the fan is running pretty hard.
