Hi guys, I’m new to this forum but have heard about it for a while. I’m really sad that the NC10 is not available here in Japan and won’t ever be.
Anyway I got my hands on a Asus N10JC recently. This is for you if you want 1080P video, a little gaming, a slightly better keyboard than current 10-inch models, very good sound and something heavier than a 13-inch notebook :p

i’m curious as to how intel/microsoft define a netbook and place limitations on the hardware?
after having just read the PC Pro review of the N10J, it seems that while it is based on the Atom it also comes with a 320GB HD and 2GB RAM, which i thought were not allowed on netbooks?!?!
A netbook can have any spec the manufacturer wants, it’s the size, weight and price that make it a netbook (amongst other things).
Where the restrictions come from is if you want it to be sold with Windows XP rather than Vista, in which case then there are hardware restrictions.
