Hi, this is my first time posting a question. This site, by the way, is great. It is giving me lots of needed info. This is my first laptop. When I am using the notebook, after a few minutes, the screen dims. I have to hit the brightness button in the task bar to get the brightness back. Is there a setting I can change to keep this from happening? Thanks so much for any help. Decb
The screen dimming is a power saving feature. Moving the mouse should return the screen to its previous brightness.
If you want to disable auto dimming go to Samsung Battery Manager > Options > LCD Auto DImming and set it to “Off”.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the help, adatay92. I will continue to read over the forum to get helpful tips. Decb
