limesmooth
MemberOrdered for a Saturday delivery (as they wouldn’t deliver to work). They rang me this morning to say they are out of stock (grr). Cancelled, spent most of my lunchbreak gloomily surfing to try and fine a white one in stock. Remembered that there is a tiny branch of Currys Digital opposite work – went in and they had 2 in stock.
White NC10 now sitting on my desk 🙂

Glad to hear you got one limesmooth. Did you need to charge your NC10 before use, or was the battery already full? I noticed when I bought mine that the battery was full, even though others have mentioned that they had to charge theirs.November 27, 2008 at 2:08 pm #171850limesmooth
MemberNo, it was fully charged.

Memberi spoke to our misco rep at work last night and they claimed to be able to deliver nc10’s in 1-3 days…
somtimes i wonder about that place…
on the plus side, misco seems to be the cheapest place to buy from online now. i have a funny feeling it won’t last long though…
fingers crossed.

Good to hear. There’s nothing better than being able to use a new gadget as soon as you open it up.November 27, 2008 at 3:24 pm #171845jez
MemberThe manual says “charge fully before use” so worth checking your out. A green charge light means it is charged according to the manual!

MemberI’ve had it on for an hour and a half and the battery is how 6h 20m remaining! I’ve been busily downloading Chrome, installing Office etc etc. I have to say it is even better than I thought it would be, so well put together. Full review and pictures will follow!

I understand that, but I cannot honestly, in good faith, charge a battery that states it is fully charged within Windows. As is evidenced on Samsung’s website, they don’t seem to be that accurate with their information. Either that, or the batteries were not supposed to be fully charged in the first place, and Samsung were planning on including uncharged batteries with the NC10.

Memberthere is a very good chance that some jakebaw in the back room of the shop opened it up and played with it before you bought it.

MemberI bought mine from Elara, so I doubt that happened. Plus, it was fully packaged in a way that wouldn’t have been possible to open the box, play with it, and put it back in the box again.
