MemberMicro Anvika have black and white models available on line and in their stores with blue on pre-order and expected within the next 10 days. I have ordered a blue model from them and am waiting for the call to tell me it is available to be collected.

Memberhow much did they charge you for it ???

MemberThey charged me £299. I hope that is going to be the price I end up paying because the price is now £329 on their website with the blue still on pre-order. I could kick myself now as Dixons Duty Free store at Gatwick had the blue for £280 and I decided not to buy because I didn’t want to bring it on holiday with me. Oh well…..

MemberOuch yeah if you end up paying £329 versus £280 then that’s pretty significant. Here’s hoping the £299 stands OK 🙂

MemberAs far I know, if the price was 299 when you placed the order then 299 is the price you will pay, something to do with the rules on remote selling.

MemberI’ll let you know what happens but if they ask for an extra £30 I will pull out and ask for my money back which they told me I could do when I placed the order.

Memberlegally they cannot ask you to pay more.
if you were sent a confirmation email for your order with the price then there is no way they can even think about doing that.
the invoice is a legally binding contract.December 1, 2008 at 12:38 am #171801Becky
MemberAbsolutely! If you’ve handed over your cash so to speak and they accepted it, then the deal is done. They can’t refuse to send you the goods because the price has gone up since you paid for it any more than a retail store can phone you after you purchased in-store and demand you pay the new price.
If they do try to pull a fast one on you, you’ll easily have them over a legal barrel. The goods are yours.

MemberMicro Anvika have all three colours in stock for £322.
I just hope that they hold on to the blue one I ordered until I get back from my holiday and I can go into the store on TCR to pick it up ; ).

MemberSo I collected it yesterday afternoon and they didn’t try to charge me any more than £299 as was predicted, excuse my previous cynicism! By the way mine came with a basic slipcover which was described in the documentation as optional – has everyone else been provided with one also?

Not setting a downer..but you can buy the item before leaving the country and pick it up on return to the UK at the airport, or even have it delivered.
