Max Operating Distance for wireless mouse

Any ideas for the max operating distance (maximum meters away from the laptop) for wireless mouse? As this might be helpful for doing powerpoint presentation.

Such as:

Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse

VS

Logitech V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Bluetooth

Ive got a VX450 Nano and its range is further than I can see the cursor moving if that helps ;o)

it is said that the max operating distance for V470 is 9 meters, which is quite a long distance.
I can see the cursor of the mouse on a big screen so longer distance will not be a problem for eyesight.
I am wondering what it is the maximum distance for VX450 Nano.
