Version 1.31 works perfect!

Made in ’96 and featuring only low Resolution this Game looks horrible on todays big screens but on a 10.2″ Screen the Game looks just awesome!

Seriously, this game was made for small screens… 🙂

Got it working, and I agree its a great game.

However the music playback is very choppy. Is this something you have experienced?

No for me it worked out of the Box (I applied Patch 1.31 prior to first launch).

Is your Game Version 1.31? You can check this in the Main Menu Screen.

Did you installed the latest DirectX?

Yep choppy for some and not others usually indicates background tasks running?

No… still no improvement after a reinstall, oh well, I’ve played it so much I don’t need the music.

Just to make sure:

You’re running Windows95 Version 1.31 of Master of Orion II?

No its the dos version v1.4.

Win 95 crashes after the simtec screen -a wave error.

Dos has always worked better for me in the past.
