Master Fille Table – very large

I was using Drefraggler and noticed that my MFT files appear to be very large

I have 2GB of RAM, no pagefile and run Windows (fully patched), AVG internet security, Office 2007 (fully patched), CCleaner and FFDSHOW.

Anyone got ideas if my large MFT is normal

Your MFT contains information on all the files stored on your drive, so it may be large due to the amount of files you have, be it program or personal.

I know it’s better to have a larger MFT than smaller and there is also an optino to edit this in Diskeeper.
