$2799! It does look nice though. And I feel comforted that I can recycle it when I get bored of it. (I can’t believe they’re using this as a selling point….)
I really like Macbooks but even as a Mac User i have to say that a non removable battery is a EPIC FAIL!

Mac do come up with some great stuff though. Would love to see their effort and what innovation they can bring to the netbook class.
They’ll bring something to the netbook class alright… Apple tax.
I find it absurd that some users are so loyal to this brand, when realistically they are a company with a closed-environment mentality and aspirations of controlling all aspects of their users’ experience with their products. I mean, to get the most out of an Apple product will require the pairing of said item with another Apple product.
I do rather like the new 17in MacBook Pro, and the battery seems easy enough to replace. Though I don’t intend to buy one.

Out of interest which Apple products are you thinking of? I’m not going to disagree completely though the products aren’t as tied together as they used to be, such as music from the iTunes store works fine on other MP3 players now.
