MemberHi,
I just got my NC10 yesterday, getting used to the shift key being one key further to the right than I am used to.
I have a problem that is driving me crazy though. My keyboard is set on US pattern, meaning that the @ key is on shift+2, and little things like that, but my samsung doesn’t seem to have a language bar option on the taskbar and the keyboard entry in the control panel isn’t of any help either.
Any clues?
Thank you in advance.

[/quote1228344643]Have you tried enabling the Language Bar? Sometimes it’s not enabled by default.
Right click on the taskbar, move the pointer up to the Toolbars entry in the menu that pops up, and select Language bar from the list that appears to the right.
I think this is what you’re after–truth be told, I’ve never used this feature of the OS before and thus have no clue what it does.

MemberThat’s what I would normally do. But my taskbar Toolbars options do not include Language bar… that’s my problem.
My UK NC10, bought in London, has a UK keyboard, but when I press some of the keys they don’t do what they say, they do what a US keyboard would do. I am quite used to shift from one keyboard language to another because I normally work with different languages and it’s easier to change the language in the keyboard than to try find the symbols.

[/quote1228345143]Did you try the Regional and Language Options entry in the Control Panel? I’m not exactly sure if this has anything to do with keyboard layout, but I’m just combing the administrative settings for anything to do with language.

MemberThank you so much! I added English UK as input language (and also Spanish). It’s working fine now. You’re a star!
