Is there a smaller battery?

I Just received my Blue NC10. Is there a smaller battery that is flush with the bottom of the case? 3-cell, Lithium Polymer maybe?

Why ??

Its not that obtrusive and when rested on a hard surface allows just enough room underneath for air circulation as well as slightly tilting the keyboard.

I likem thin. Always nice to have options….especially when traveling. Granted, I’ll have to sacrifice some runtime.

I think the answer to your question is no, a 3-cell does not yet exist for the NC10.

I would want one for around the house because the NC10 gets to be a little back tippy with the battery in the back. I wonder if a smaller and lighter one would help.

For anyone hellbent on get rid of the battery altogether I think I have seen the equivalent of an external battery on Ebay. I assume it plugs into the charger lead socket. I think they popped up when I did an NC10 search.
