MemberI see the blue version has a sparkly lid. I can’t tell if the black one does too – not sure if the pics I’ve seen are just grainy.

MemberNo the lid is just pure gloss!
Thinking of purchasing a skin to go on top of it!

MemberAs above, there’s no sparkle to the black lid it’s just shiny piano black.

MemberActually, contrary to the above, the black version does also have some slight sparkle to it. It is barely noticeable without getting very close and in good light though.
They are a red/purple colour.

MemberMy new black NC10 has the odd sparkly bits in it too – you have to catch it in the right light:)

MemberThe white one that i have got has got metallic flecks in with the paint, looks quite sparkly in some lighting conditions.

MemberThe matte black parts have some kind of shines/sparks. You dont see it good, but after watching a time, you can see sparks.

No, because if you are, then so am I! heheI plan on leaving the plastic on the lid until I receive my case and then it’s coming off.

MemberI like sparkly! LOL I can’t decide what color to get. I will be ordering my sammy this week. Are you happy with the color you got, or if you had to do it over what color would you get? I’ve been leaning towards white.

MemberI plan on leaving the cover on as well, until I can find a good plastic cover. I have a screen protector lined up but nothing for the lid. I hate anything glossy thanks to how delicate the finish is, it’ll be scratched in a week simply by wiping dust off.
How is the plastic that comes with it stuck on, is it like a cling plastic or taped around the edges?

MemberIt’s just a flappy plastic sheet with holes in the four corners. It doesn’t entirely cover the top and I removed it. The glossy cover isn’t that much of a problem really, I mean I don’t mind the marks left on there as I just wipe it off afterwards easily.

MemberI don’t mind marks either, but I guarantee there are going to be swirl marks if you look at it in the light from wiping it off. I am extremely overprotective of all my high price electronics so I won’t be able to stand fine scratches.

MemberOh yea you’re right I can see where I can wiped it. 😛
Well, my iPod got a lot of scratches and since then I haven’t really paid much care to glossy surfaces (that included my DS although I got a cover on that now). -
