MemberOK, went to control panel to look at settings for my touchpad. I see NO touchpad ANYWHERE? I do see my USB mouse, but no touchpad anywhere. Even looked in device setting etc. Now no matter how much beer I may drink, I KNOW I have a damned touchpad since I have to hit F10 every boot up to avoid typing mistakes. Anyone have any ideas where my touchpad went? Maybe those eyes (blotches) stole it?

Memberit is the mouse option in the control panel.
open it then click the far right tab which is device settings then select the touchpad and choose settings that gets you to the synaptics touchpad control panelDecember 18, 2008 at 3:11 am #176298lucynethel

MemberOK, went To Samsungs website and downloaded the touchpad driver. Rebooted and NOW have a touchpad. Man, was losing my frigging mind trying something even an idiot could figure out. NEVER dawned on me it was never installed? Maybe when I did the BIOS update it got tossed or who knows. NOW I can tinker at least. GEEZ, such a hassle for so many hours over this silly thing. Thanks anyway folks.
